Grief
Cameron Boyce

On the 6th of July, 2019, the world lost a bright star, Cameron Boyce. He was someone we all watched grow up, right in front of us; from 'Grown Ups (1 and 2)' to 'Jessie', to 'Gamer's Guide To Pretty Much Everything', to 'Descendants', 'guest starring on 'Bunk'd', 'Descendants 2', 'Descendants 3', and so much more....
I believe Cameron was a light that made the world a little less dark. He brought hope to many lives, to many people. He was loved. He is loved, and I pray with all of my heart that he's in Paradise now.
When I heard the news of his death, I was in denial. I thought it was fake news 'cause there's a lot of fake news going around these days. But when I found out that the news was true, I burst into tears. I couldn't believe it.
Even till now, it still feels like a dream. It doesn't feel real at all. But sadly, it is real.
I know I have no idea what the people who were closest to him are feeling right now, but I pray the Lord sees them through this. I send my condolences to them. And I hope and pray they find their joy again even if their lives will never remain the same.
A friend of mine once said that when someone dies, the reason why people cry is not because they're dead, but because they've gotten so used to life with that person in it that when he/she dies, they have no idea how to live life without them. They wouldn't know how to cope or how life would be without that person around.
Cameron was a beautiful soul. He was a blessing to all those around him and that came in contact with him. Even to those of us who didn't have the chance to meet him, he still managed to put a smile on our faces. He brought hope to this dark, cruel world. And he had such a lively spirit, and the fact that he's gone is truly devastating, but I wish him all the very best and pray he's up there smiling down at us.
The fact that he passed so suddenly should be a reminder to us; we should live good lives, lives that we know that if we were to die this very moment (or Rapture were to take place right now), we would make it to Heaven. We should be kind to our fellow human beings and show and spread love to one another. We should give our lives to Christ and live a life that is right with Him (without which we cannot see Heaven).
Cameron may be gone, but he left a legacy. Legacies in fact; each one helping the world, one way or the other, become a better place for we human beings to live in. We should try to do the same and make a positive impact in this planet of ours.
God help us. In Jesus Name. Amen 🙏🙏
Skai Jackson posted this on her instagram, so I felt it appropriate to post it here too.
